It’s Apples Milanese loop. The telltale sign of an authentic Apple Milanese loop is that it fills up the whole of the lug. Unlike the third party ones, which are normally a mm narrower.

Oh and they state in the post that it’s an authentic Milanese loop.

Thanks! I was so enamored with the photo I didn't see the the text :). I have the same that is still in the box. I've been afraid to wear it with my 44mm stainless due to the report of scratches. Maybe I'll wear it on special occasions, and try to be very careful.

Yeah it’s true. You have to be careful with the black Milanese loop scratching the sapphire screen. The loop and case are coated in a dlc (diamond like coating).

So did he. The DLC coating on the Space Black Milanese Loop has the same level of hardness as the Sapphire Glass resistance and therefore could easily scratch it.

The OG post looks like an aluminum watch, but thanks for the link. I can see this being an issue for sure. It’s not an every day band for me. To be worn on certain occasions.

I have a Milanese band and the magnet is very strong. Is it supposed to be like that? Thanks

My silver one from my Gen. 1 purchase was very strong. Kind of a “wild child” when trying to manage and manipulate it while putting on or storing. It would stick to itself like crazy while I tried to adjust it. But for security while wearing that is probably a good thing! I don’t know if my new purchase with my Gen. 4 is the same (in black) as I haven’t opened the box.

I assume so. Mine is ridiculous strong, it grabs on when you don’t expect it. I can see how this can scratch. Metal on metal. Why this band will only be used for certain occasions.

I cant use mine for bed. But I don’t like it due to the fact it pinches my skin.

I got a Moko space grey link bracelet in today. I’m liking it more than the black one I think. Although the colour match is not exact.

No, the guy in the other thread had an aluminium Watch, hence a non-sapphire display; both body and glass scratch much more easily than the Space Black Watch with the sapphire screen.

hadn’t realised it was a 1st Gen been thinking it was a Series 1 the ohhh of the Apple Confusion lol
