My brand new 40mm Series 5 Nike after the launch version decided to break a few weeks back. Still can’t believe I managed to get a new sealed midnight blue strap for just £7 on eBay.
Yeah, there's not much reason to change once you got that one.
I thought about that. I think I'll just leave mine. Let the character stay, know what I mean?

I don't know - just that every time you polish it, you remove metal, so just not to ruin it

Yeah, I figure you do that when you polish the band too so I just leave it. I get your point though.

I remember when I got my first stainless steel WATCH, I thought it would scratch like hell within two weeks and instantly look like a classic iPod with the mirrored finish losing a fight to a sand blaster. What I later discovered is it will definitely gather micro-scratches, but not to the point it would give my inner OCD a stroke. I know it's cliche, but it is definitely true IMO that it gathers character over time. I decided a polish every six months or so works well for me to get that new watch look and feel.
With the link band, on the other hand, I have not and never will polish that. Using a brushed refinishing pad will restore the brushed metal look on the link band quite well, and there are some how-to videos on YouTube.
As always, YMMV.

Ok folks the cabin fever has set in and he’s a beast. Playing Hermes dress-up with all my cheaply acquired modern buckles is all I can do to not freak out over the zoomers partying shirtless in front of the Airbnb across the street. Also couldnt resist the Neptune/crimson Ekiden (Japanese marathon) pack Nikes to go with my sport loop. There’s also a shoe that matches the midnight turquoise/aurora green sport band. And a shoe that matches all four colors!

My Stainless Steel Series 2 (38mm) turns 3 years old today so I decided to give it a nice polish and retire the Milanese Loop.
I purchased the Apple Link Bracelet at a massive discount, i got it for 145€.
The original price was 475€ but there’s a huge sale going on at iStyle (apple premium reseller). BTW iStyle operates in multiple countries in Europe and the sale is live in other countries 🙂
After the polish and with the new Link Bracelet it looks brand new again. And because I turn it off every night the battery life is still great !
I will use this watch until it stars falling apart lol

I take it off the case at home sometimes to clean it. The back of the iPhone 11 Pro looks stunning!!
I love this year’s Apple black leather case. It isn’t as dark as the XS, It reminds me of the charcoal grey colour from the 8 Plus/X.
