The below was taken just now in bright overcast on an 11 Pro Max with no retouching. Deep Navy looks darker in less strong light, but this is how it compares with the original Midnight Blue and the reboot in 2018. The original MB has had a fair bit of wear and a little sheen because of that, and the other two have never been worn.

I have an Hermès Ulysse Planner in Bambou & it’s one of my fave Hermès colors. So glad they finally decided to go with an Apple Watch band in that color....looks gorgeous!!!

I have the space gray aluminum watch with cypress green band, but also purchased a deep navy sport band. It is very dark and not shiny - very nice looking.
Thanks for the pics! I like the midnight blue better than the deep navy blue but that's just me. I think the deep navy blue is a little bit shiny. Makes the watch look like a kids plastic watch lol!

40MM Blue with Deep Navy Sport Band. In love. My first “dark” colored watch and I’m so glad they came out with a blue. Pictures don’t do it justice
Looks great! And keep track of that black sport band, I’d love to buy one but because it has the Hermès branding barely noticeable on the pin they go for $200+.
You can easily cut the cost of the titanium or hermes models by selling off those bands.
Yep, I don’t really see myself ever paying more than retail for one though. Especially without the S/M!

Me too. I returned my Braided Loop. The transition from the lug to the Watch in real life is terrible. (And is not as pictured in Apple's images.)
