Whatcha been up to there, Russel? Never seen a watch that beat up.

That's two years of me wearing it almost everyday for work and play. Some of the scratches are from me having too much fun on bicycles but most of the pitting and scratching is from work. There's a reason I bought the aluminum version. Sure the stainless model with it's harder display would scratch less but it still would have scratches. I thought about buying the stainless steel S6 with leather band and just wearing my old S4 at work. I love how they look 🤤

It's actually braided so of course it can do this. I bet this could easily be fixed with a pointy object like a crochet needle. If you're doing activities that could snag it then I wouldn't get this band.

Got mine way ahead of schedule, was supposed to be Oct 1-6 but ended up shipping locally. Must have had a couple on hand!

This is my first Apple Watch after a few failed experiments with Pebble and a Moto 360 I'm blown away. This is what I always expected and never got from those products.

I understand it's braided, but for a $139 AUD, the band shouldn't be getting damaged that easily, honestly reckon it's over priced, should be way cheaper, same price as the sport loop would of been perfect.

I'll still be buying one once the apple store reopens 🤦‍♂️😂

I was not impressed by the feel of the braided loop. Not worth $100 in any scenario. Traded it in for a leather loop.

I have both the solo loop and braided loop and I’m going to return the braided loop. It doesn’t look or feel as good I thought it would and the mismatch of the lug against the edges of the watch case bothers me.

I’m wearing that band right now on an SBSS S5 and it’s my fave of the latest drop, but technically it’s Obsidian Mist. I’m not being pedantic for no reason as there is a Nike Obsidian also:

If braided material gets snagged this is going to happen. I’m not sure how you expect Apple to prevent this. They could make it fake braided with just the design on a solid band. I suspect it’s more involved in making with the silicone being braided vs one solid mold. Of course it’s overpriced but the Apple ones are better
