Here’s one I just grabbed as I happen to be wearing it with SBSS just now. It’s my fave of the latest drop of Sport Bands by far.

It photos a bit lighter than IRL however, and there’s a slight hint of mauve / purple to the grey to my eye. That’s a Space Grey iPad Pro as background to give you an idea.

I would love to see this on the graphite if anyone has that combo. I’m looking to spend another $50 from the already new bands I bought today haha

In your mind you were joking. For those of use who don’t know you, there is no discernible way to know by the post you made.

I wear it at work so it doesn’t get damaged. I don’t use use it while at home and out and about. I put it on to take pictures for the poster I replied to. The watch cost me $900 dollars.
It is impossible to be disrespectful to an electronic device. He obviously wants to protect the watch as best he can at all times. The watch isn’t cheap. I see nothing wrong with what he is doing and he shouldn’t be shamed for using a case. Respect other people’s choices when they differ from yours.
Jesus relax LOL I am clearly joking. This isn’t debate class.

Why thanks we're all entitled to speak our own opinions no negative assumption on my end I actually prefer the bulky look of it and I was actually too excited to not buy a case for my watch it's okay

Wear your watch however you want 😉

Any scratches yet from that band?
Unfortunately, YES! I am the type of person who babys my tech and go to great lengths to ensure everything looks pristine. It's how I was brought up. That being said, this is atrocious! I've read reports that Apple might have made a typo when they stated the Graphite had the DLC coating, but might be PVD like the Gold SS. My SBSS S4 also had a few micro scratches but that was before I knew about the Milanese band issue and after 1 year of use. I was ABSOLUTELY careful beyond belief and necessary to make sure the band didn't touch the case. Yet, I already sea a few micro scratches after I cleaned my watch with a new, clean microfiber towel after 2 days...SMH!

The SBSS DLC seems to be thicker, although I have no way of measuring it. Being that the DLC is made of carbon and carbon is black, I am wondering if the DLC coating is thinner. The Graphite SS looks like they simply applied a thinner layer of DLC on a regular SS watch.

Now, I'm strongly considering on returning to Apple and either pick up a refurbished S5 to get the AOD feature or bite the bullet and get the SBTi for $100 more knowing that would be the cheapest option for a watch with DLC coating and sapphire display. Worse comes to worse, I just buy the Nike edition, pocket the difference and see what the S7 redesign brings.

Apple Watch SE. looks bulky but it's my kind of style (might change who knows ha)

Maybe it could be because of the lighting on the first pic but definitely silver. I believe there is no ceramic this year.
Your blue looks great.
I know you say it is silver aluminum, but in on of the pictures it kind of looks like ceramic!

Anyway, the blue aluminum with the dark blue band looks great. I also got the ginger band (chicken-yellow according to my wife, lol), but I haven't tried it yet, I'm loving the blue one.

I'm just thinking that the blue watch won't be as versatile as the black one (with the forest green leather band, for example).

Despite the horror stories you might read here, the watch is extremely durable. My experience have all previous series, is that I have never noticed any damage to the casing. Enjoy your watch

Thanks. I appreciate the input.

I had a SB SS series 5 previously and it held up very well without any protection. I noticed a few very tiny marks when I went to sell but otherwise, it wasn’t noticeable in normal viewing. Who knows, I may end up ditching the cover in the coming weeks.

Sports loop, yes. I prefer it to the black I started with.
Looks really nice. I’ve got quite a few OEM sport bands but the most I’ve paid is £25. I just can’t bring myself to pay £49 even though I like the look of it lol.

Congratulations on closing all your rings too. Love the fitness side of this watch.

Maybe someone can help me

I have a series 3 watch and realise I’m limited in what faces I can have due to that

im after some decent digital faces, but don’t really get on with any offered by the watch app

is there a simple and easy way to somehow add third party faces ?

thank you

My first Apple Watch Graphite stainless steel with graphite milanese loop I LOVE IT!View attachment 960357

No mucking around for a first Apple Watch 😂

If I wasn’t getting the blue watch, would of purchased the graphite model without hesitation, absolutely stunning watch 👌🤤

That band matches the watch perfectly as well.
