Show off your Apple Watch

Just waiting for the 2 aftermarket leather links (red and orange) and the genuine Californian poppy straps to arrive.

I have gone minimalist with the face though. This is as close as i can get to a Braun watch face and I love it.

It was never explained why Apple discontinued them out of the lineup, and we will probably never know, one of the worst decisions they made - just one day, Series 4 arrived in 2018 and the Classic Buckles were all removed from the store just like that. In it’s place, Apple had the (hideous and even more expensive) Modern Buckle for 40mm and Leather Loop for 44mm. All we do know was that they got rid of what was a pretty popular band style.

Seeing that Classic buckles work perfectly fine with newer 40/44mm Watches having used mine for two years with my S4 SS, as well as considering the Classic Buckle had then so recently received a significant redesign, I don’t think it was a question of compatibility, but rather, they just wanted to upsell the similar looking Hermes bands, which cost a small fortune more. It’s sneaky, but two years on, I think it’s gone, forgotten and not coming back

Can confirm that my size 7 braids correspond to my preferred sport band holes on each size sport band when I lay them out to take Buddy thread pictures, which seems obvious but is still pleasing.

+1 for the Gruber System. I wear hole 3 on a S/M 44mm band, which makes me a size 5.
So I took the plunge and ordered a pink citrus solo loop which I received yesterday. Fits perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. Exactly like hole 3 on a sports band.

Ideal weekend wear. :cool:

Sad to say, but the classic buckle was a very good and cheaper alternative to the very expensive Hermès band... :(

That’s on the money I would say. Apple stopped it because it made the Hermes more exclusive.

Plenty of strap companies out there though that sell reasonably expensive but cheaper alternatives and dare I say perhaps better quality.
 
I'm a newbie around here, but I've had my Aluminium S4 watch since that model launched. It is going to be my daughter's soon as I have a Space Black Ti on order.

Yesterday with the Nomad Modern band and this morning with the Kumquat Sport Loop. I love this face at sunrise.

I should have taken the time to read your post, before responding!

I’ve found the Reminders bug, by the way (at least for me, anyway.)

You have to have your clock set to 24hr mode. When this is so, everything works as it used to. That is, you can specify when a reminder is to trigger.

Top Left - HeartWatch
Middle - Heart Analyzer
Bottom left - WaterMinder (hydration which directly relates to blood pressure etc)
Bottom Middle - wHealth (Awesome health stats app especially for the watch)
Bottom Right - Heart Analyzer SPo2

Thank you @BasicGreatGuy - and yeah I don't know why pictures make the AW seem more massive than they are. It looks fine in real life.

What does the reminders bug do?
