If you add up all the money I haven’t spent on bars, restaurants, home solo alcohol, pro sports, rec league sports during quarantine...you would still be well, well short of the band expenditure.
That’s my calculation as well. Well, add a LOT of solo alcohol but subtract haircuts and highlights.

Yeah weirdly without a little social drinking at hockey and in bars, my desire for solo drinking completely plummeted.

And then I used that to justify the Hermes purchases, and now when I walk into the ALDI and see all the wonderful store-brand booze with the uncanny knock-off labels I tell myself “you made your bed and now you must sleep in it (in fine Parisian leather)”

Thought it was black at first, nice!
Yes it’s the blue one and I am very happy with it. Wonder which other bands would look good with it.
Thanks for your reply... I love your picture with your gold watch with the red band and red t-shirt. Looks great.

If you go back just a few pages on this thread wizzywig27 has taken super photos of that configuration. If that doesn't clarify then I will take some more.

I think you'll love the combo. I'm very happy.

I could be wrong but that looks like an aluminum model.

I'm not getting great photos for some reason but hope these are ok

It’s very dark but I appreciate the effort!

Why does the Atlantic Blue braided loop always look so great and vibrant in every picture I've seen posted here, but when I looked at it in the store it was a lot darker and more muted? Is it the lighting in the Apple Store?

I’m really sorry for posting this because once you see the resemblance you can’t un-see it. I thought I picked a great colour until I realized where Apple’s design inspiration came from this year...

Side note the red doesn’t look
too bad.

I’m dropping out of the stainless steel watches and going back to aluminum because I flip them each year the the stainless steel model cost depreciation is worse than the aluminum models in my city. Also the weight is noticeable.

I will miss the look, but not the heftier case.

Sweet teardown skin!

Looks so nice! Is this the 40mm or 44mm?

It is the 40mm. On my wrist the 44 looks less of a watch and more of a computer, so I stick with the 40 :)

I actually hoped it would be a bit darker that it is. But it’s not, lots of blue to it, very saturated and bright.

It might be the white shimmery goodness the braids have that activates in sunlight. Atlantic Blue is ultimately slightly darker than median in the spectrum of blues we know and love, as you would expect with that slightly dark blue aluminum watch’s launch buddy.
