Years ago, Rene Ritchie used to go on and on about bands like this.
Is it comfortable?
I have two cuff-style bands: that black one, and another one from Pad & Quill (pictured below). The black one is less comfortable than the Pad & Quill cuff, but that’s mostly because the Pad & Quill cuff has some of the most supple leather I’ve ever worn.

Cuff-style bands really are quite comfortable compared to standard leather bands. To me, it seems like they distribute the band force over a wider area, which means less pressure (and discomfort) on the skin.

Ah, nice. And, we all know, those Pad & Quill, aren't cheap...
 
nice but why is there a small gap in the lug part, kind of puts me off this band. just my ocd.
That's why I had to return my Solo Braided Loop. I thought I was easy going but I just couldn't live with the poor build quality. Love the looks of the band material but can't stand the sloppy transition to the Watch.
