Do you wear a Milanese loop?

Yes, I still have a Space Black Milanese Loop from a few years ago. Why do you ask? :)

Because I think I saw the dreaded Milanese Loop Micro scratches on the bottom of your watch. That was one of the reason I gave up on that band a while ago. It scratched my old Space Black Series 4 and I’m very careful but at that time wasn’t completely aware of it scratching the casing by just slightly rubbing with one another.

I could be wrong on what I saw in your pic though but since you do wear a Milanese loop just want to tell you to make sure to be careful with that band as it can scratch up your watch casing pretty easily. It does look great though and great shots too by the way!

Ah, thanks! Hard to say...I’m beyond cautious when it comes to that band and my watches, but I won’t discount the possibility. Upon careful observation, I see what might be one small mark, but it might also be able to be wiped off. I’ll have to look more carefully later on. In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

What color is that ? The coffee proto ?

Well I just sold my Series 4 LTE Stainless Steel Gold 44mm watch, I got a very nice offer that I couldn’t refuse, just picked up a Series 5 LTE Space Grey Aluminum 44mm, added a Midnight Blue Sport Loop, now I can’t decide what leather band to go with it. Should I get the Leather Link? or Leather Loop?

Aww thanks. The big honking 1x on the 12 Max has me addicted to shooting after my year of 2x. Here’s today’s wear, “Mandarin”/“Harvest Pumpkin” protoype on the wrist for the first time. It’s most like papaya in hue

I love that band color! You say that’s a prototype? Not for purchase?

Sorry about that - I should have included that info. Series 6 Graphite Stainless steel 44mm, with the Toasted Coffee/Caramel Woven Nylon Band (Fall 2016). I’m very fond of this combo.

@jl.blass614: I do have a small mark on the bottom front of the casing and I have no idea how it got there. It could be from the Milanese Loop, but it could also be from general wear and tear. No worries either way: I wear it all the time, so a little bit of “battle scarring” is to be expected!

Yeah a one off from Chargerstore alongside a dusty red. But maybe he will get new waves in and maybe the people on here who get dibs on the 42mm might let others get a shot at them. 😉

All the prototypes I’ve gotten after those old magnet and jade nikes have only been because I can take a 38mm.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And I saw your later post that mark definitely looks like the Milanese got in contact with it. Sorry my detailed eyes and ocd are like a blessing and a curse lol

No worries at all! I’ll probably do as you did, and ditch the Milanese Loop (especially with my next Apple Watch purchase, to avoid scratches).

Nice upgrade!

Thanks! I always wanted the SS silver with Milanese Loop after having bought the Series 1 on Black Friday three years ago. A huge leap in performance between it and my new Series 6. My Series 1 died because I didn't charged it for a few months (lost the cable) and the Apple tech said it was not worth the repair, so a nice excuse to upgrade anyway.

Speaking of Black Friday, I attempted to grab a Series 3 42mm Space Gray for my Dad today at Target for $149 and of course they sold-out at all locations. I bit the bullet, pony-up another $65 and got one at Best Buy for $214 before tax.
