I totally agree the SBTi has definitely rocked with my Nike Loops. I do agree that I prefer this particular one on the SBTi over the SS but I think HC/NG looks pretty good with SS as well. The benefit of the SS is that it matches easily with just about anything.

What is the 5887 ? Steps? How do I get this kind of info on my watch?

It’s so crazy how a face so simple can look so good. The Hermès faces just have a minimalistic class that can’t be matched by Apple’s stock faces. It’s also crazy how they‘ve locked them down and I can’t put a Hermès face on my watch even though the software is more than capable.

I think next closest is typograph, but the Hermès is definitely pushed to the very edge with the smaller, Hermès-specific font. I compared the Hermès and Typograph side by side and it was a surprisingly large difference considering they're both the same face idea.

The software is why I was willing to pay twice the price for the same hardware 😭 I never even use leather bands and rarely use the orange sport band.

I always envied the Hermès watchface, especially since the always-on display was a thing, and this year the extra Circulaire watchface with complications pushed me over the edge. It is not nearly twice the price if you deduct the worth of the (very nice) leather strap and the second year of warranty, but yeah, Apple/Hermès really make you pay for that tiny bit of extra software. But on the other hand, watches are about looks just as much as about function, and every little bit to help make the Watch look less like a gadget and more like an elegant timepiece is worth a lot to me. In this regard, in the „wearables“ category the Hermès Apple Watch is just in a league of it‘s own.

Agreed. That’s why I’ve put a little bit more money into nicer straps for my titanium whereas I just stuck with the sport bands when I had the aluminum and Nike versions because that was more of a fitness gadget than a fashion accessory to me.

I’m surprised the titanium editions didn’t have exclusive faces like they did with the bands.

Yeah, I had the S5 in Titanium and all we got was an extra (dark or light) „Titanium“ colour choice in some of the stock watch faces. These are available for all Watches now, so the only remaining versions with software „specials“ are Hermès and Nike.

I liked the natural Titanium very much but the slight mis-match with the stainless steel buckles of all my (Classic Buckle) leather straps bothered me a little more than I expected. And the Titanium body really screams for classy bands; I especially love pictures of it with the new Leather Link bands.

The natural titanium matches up perfectly with the link bracelet so that was a nice surprise. It also looks really good with the minimal chrome accents on the leather loop.

How do I get that watch face?
There's a Clockology group on Facebook with lots of info. Basically, you download the Clockology app, then download watch faces and use the app to deploy them to your Apple Watch. AFAIK not many native complications works with Clockology, so the functionality of your AW may not be quite the same. HTH.
