I always said I won‘t get a second Watch because I would wear it too rarely, but since I stumbled upon a cheap-ish gold stainless S5 I‘m glad I budged and impulse-bought it. It‘s such a nice, dark, warm tone of gold.
Yassss. That’s like me. I have silver aluminum Nike series 6, but I have a big band collection, and some of them have gold hardware. I found a used series 4 SS gold and love it so much. I actually kind of want three watches now—Nike, SS gold, and SS silver, but I always pay for cellular for both of my watches and paying for it for three seems excessive.
I had to LOL because now that my „one Watch only“ mental barrier is broken, I‘m seriously entertaining the thought of keeping both the silver S6 and gold S5 steel Watches and getting the S7 in a lighter material for daily wear.
I just really like the Nike faces and sporty look. But with other bands SS is so pretty.

Same here, although the other way round. Started my „journey“ to SS and multiple Apple Watches with an S6 SSG and a couple of months later I had regrets because I sold the space gray S6 Alu in favor of the SSG.
So since I prefer the SS case (and the better look and feel) a lot, but wanted a darker colored watch too, I got myself an S2 SBSS. Then I figured a standard SS case would also be nice, I bought another S2 SS.
A while later, a bit annoyed by the smaller display (42 vs 44) and now sure that the silver SS wasn’t my cup of tea, I sold both S2s and bought an S4 SBSS.
The SSG is still my daily driver but when it‘s on the charger I wear the SBSS and also sometimes when I want to wear the more colorful straps that just look better with the dark case.
I will definitely not go back to „just“ one AW ;-)

It‘s really interesting to me that both of you (and others as well) easily go back and forth between Watches with and without AOD. I don‘t think I could do that. When I see someone on the street wearing a Watch without AOD, it just looks broken to me.
I like AOD and would rather have it, but yeah, it's not too big a deal. Especially in the winter when my wrist is covered anyway. And I'm in Michigan, so that's most of the year that I'm in long sleeves.
AOD is important to me and it looks better than the watch being just black, but I can go without it. Had Apple Watches long enough to be used to not having an AOD.
Midnight Blue, got it today - used, not really immaculate unfortunately. But the price was OK and a strap to wear when it gets rough(er) is nice to have.
Finally! Extremely happy with my new braided loop, looks amazing
Need to wear this as much as possible in case it becomes illegal in 2024 😟
I hear you. I use my 40 mm for sleep tracking. Always had 44 mm SS models (S5 and S6), but got the 40 mm aluminum for sleep tracking. Now when I change to my 44 mm in the morning, it feels like I have a calculator on my wrist for first 10-15 mins
