Looking at these amazing watch face and band combinations I’m inspired to get my first watch this fall. From what I see here, a lot you have chosen silver. Should I be surprised by that? Is it trending that way generally or is it because it goes well with a lot of the new band colors?

My maxim is “silver stainless matches the most bands, but it doesn’t provide the best matches.” Gold/black/gray have some mismatches but also have some amazing combos.

But more importantly if you want to get discontinued Apple leather buckle bands or Hermes leather bands (worth it), it matches the predominantly silver steel hardware on those.
