Graphite 41mm S7 with a cheap leather band from Amazon. I haven’t opened the Milanese loop. May try to flip the it because I’m deathly scared of scratches.
Graphite looks great. A lot less darker than what you see in marketing pictures. It’s a good middle ground between black and the silver. I’d describe as a shiny gunmetal gray.

I've always owned SS Apple Watches, but I'm tempted by this one.

That’s the SBTi so it comes with the Dark Gray sport band. The Light Gray band is bundled with the silver titanium. By the way, that band is exclusive to the black titanium watch and can’t be bought in stores. If you lose or damage yours, you can get a replacement for $49 by calling Apple Support and giving them the SN of your watch.
Series 7 - 45mm Nike+ Midnight with Black Sports Loop
I originally ordered a Starlight watch last Friday because SS was already showing delivery dates in mid November. Much to my surprise, I was able to score an in-store pickup for today for a graphite SS. I've had the Apple Watch since it first came out in 2015 but this is my first SS watch and I'm loving it!
I bought it with the graphite Milanese loop but it also pairs beautifully with my Nike Pride sport band.

If you go back and forth quickly between aluminum and SS, you notice a slight difference, but only for a minute or so. There's no functional difference between the two, at least for me. I switch daily between Alu, SS, and ceramic, and after the first moments, I barely notice I'm wearing a watch, especially with the solo loops or braided solos.
So is everyone happy with the new S7? After reading the “tech reviews on Wednesday” has it lived up to your expectation? I’m really enjoying the bigger screen and the starlight colour imo looks very nice. Saw the stainless steel models at the apple store and they looked amazing, even the blue one!

I always took photos in brightly lit environments so maybe that’s why it might have been confused for Graphite but in brightly lit environments Graphite pictures way more silvery than the photos I posted of my SBSS. Definitely looking forward to my Graphite but will definitely miss my SBSS as I’m not willing to pay Hermès tax just to get SBSS.

I was just thinking the same thing earlier. It's a much darker shade though. Midnight looks like black unless the light hits it just right, then it appears to have a teeny little hint of blue. I was worried about that, but now that I have it in hand the worry is gone! I would have preferred Space Gray of course, but oh well.
