I’ve just set it up . First ever Apple Watch . No idea what I’m doing but I’ll read about it . I was debating between starlight and green . I opted for starlight because I think it’s easier to match with most straps , I want a pink one next so the green wouldn’t look as nice . The green is quite dark though . This one creamy

May be the angle of the photo, but I'll be honest, that looks too big

GPS or sellular?

Looks amazing , Sharm some more pics.
Have You compared with grey SS?
Il try post some more soon. In the store the graphite looked a lot darker than imagined and it was quite a bright store. The silver just stood out a little more. A lot more bands matched it. Definitely got no regrets.

Do you always wear your watch above the wrist bone? Usually below is better for the Apple Watch, but your choice. Whichever works best for you. Enjoy!
I have to admit I'm always shocked at how many people wear their AW above their wrist bone, right up against their hand. I've never seen anyone wear a mechanical watch like that, but it seems to be a thing for many with the AW. I find it very uncomfortable that way, and it limits movement of my wrist/hand. I can only wear mine behind my wrist bone, myself, like a traditional mechanical watch.

In my case any watch moves there by itself. The wrist bone is the slimmest part between my hand and my arm. I would love to wear it higher up but it wouldn’t stay there. 🤷‍♀️

162 mm small wrist, 45mm Starlight. I LOVE IT! I’m so surprised by how significant this upgrade feels after everyone, including myself, was down on this year after the initial announcement. I’ve had the S0, S3, S4, S6, and now S7 and this by far “feels” the largest update except for the S3->S4 upgrade. The larger screen to me is much more significant than how it felt gaining the always on display and O2 sensor when I jumped S4->S6 last year. I’m very pleased.

I’ve seen lots of people wear mechanical watches there. I couldn’t even if I wanted to - the distance between my wrist bone and my hand is too small, the watch would be mostly on my hand, with the strap across my palm. I also can’t wear it on top of the wrist bone, which I’ve seen a lot as well with both AW and mechanical watches, because the bone sticks up too much to be comfortable.

The face I chose to go with the bleu band to contrast is matchy match with the sport 😁

The other post didn’t take for some reason.

also got my exchange! (for the leather band) I’m glad I did. Usually I just try to suck it up/convince myself it’s ok. But it was still kinda bugging me, plus it’s not like I’m getting it for free. Missed the first two quarters of packers/bears and literally rolled outta bed look xD

Mine is the same way. If I place it above my wrist bone, it just slides down. Ultimately, it stays on top of my wrist bone. I can’t have it directly on my wrist.

That used to be true for me before I started wearing watches with optical heart rate sensors but once I learned they don’t work well unless tight about 1 inch higher than the wrist bone I did what was necessary to prevent them sliding… ie. wear that band tighter! for people not used to an unmoving, unsliding watch that takes getting used to but what feels “uncomfortably tight” the first week or so will quickly be totally normal. just wear those bands tighter!

Same here - any watch I have would move itself to the thinnest part of the wrist and sit there.

To each their own, but I’m not forcing myself to get along with something that fits too tight to my liking. If it’s not immediately comfortable, I don’t waste time on it.
