Any thoughts if 41mm or 45mm looks better on my wrist?

BTW I have a 170mm wrist.View attachment 1941230View attachment 1941229View attachment 1941239View attachment 1941240

I definitely think the 41mm looks best. It looks like a watch on your wrist and not a computer. Huge watches have been trendy for a while now though.

Keep in mind that the angle of a picture and the distance your wrist is from a camera can play tricks on the eye, making it look bigger or smaller.

In my humble opinion, most people would be better off with the 41mm, but they want a bigger screen and slight extra battery size. I’ve seen way more people with watches that look comically big on them than people with comically small ones.

The 41mm definitely looks better to my eyes. I have similar wrist and wear the smaller model as I find the larger ones just look like a computer rather than a watch unless you have huge wrists.
I have small wrists and tried the 41mm and it looked strange on me. Maybe I didnt wear it enough but now the 45mm looks huge but not too bad. Maybe I should try the 41mm again.

I dont have the 41mm currently and did not take a picture. the 45mm essentially covers the entire height of my wrist and I use the second to last hole on the sport band.

That sounds too big to me, but it mostly matters that you find it comfortable and like it. I think most people would be better suited to the 41mm. That’s just my opinion.

I understand what you are saying, I dont think I spent enough time wearing the 41mm. Maybe it is because I am a guy or just used to the 44mm, it just felt weird wearing the 41mm.

I actually always went with the bigger watch since Series 0. This year though the 45mm was just starting to look too big, just didn’t find the appeal of a huge screen on my wrist and I downsized to the 41mm and haven’t looked back. It’s such a nice size and complements my wrist/arm instead of just looking like a huge screen on my wrist. I’m not knocking 45mm of course, just not my preference anymore that’s all.

I want to try the 41mm again but I already returned it once and I don't want to potentially make 3 returns in one month at the apple store. Dont want to get blacklisted haha.

I like the 45mm on the wrist but it just does not feel like a watch, just a big screen which I dont need.

An approaching storm for twener-wristed upgraders…I can handle a 45mm for Aluminum because it’s e sport watch and prob last on the list for choosing a watch for going out. Somehow the 45mm in reflective stainless steel would feel way different at that size.

I can totally see what you mean! Something about the large screen with shiny reflective bezels sounds different in comparison to the matte aluminum.

I think my old 44mm SS silver was the best fit. Can't believe that an extra mm makes that much difference, as my 45mm SS graphite looks noticeably bigger. I never cared for watches though so don't mind my AW looking like tech on my wrist, although an elegant one.

This is something that worries me a bit for the future. I have had the bigger watch too since Series 0, and my wrist is on the lower limit of the bigger watch (160mm). This means that starting with 45mm, the bigger watch will just be... too big. However, given the size my band collection has grown into, downsizing is not something I'd be able to do easily. Kudos on you for doing that, though. Guess I'll be holding onto my S6 watches for a while....

Just do the return. Apple does not do anything like that haha. You should see my returns lol

Light Gray Titanium band on Graphite 🔥

This thread is dangerous. Band collection went from 3 bands for series 0/ and 4 to 10 for series 7. Liking the workout combo of white sport with midnight aluminum.

I know the feeling. For the longest time, I only had 2-3 bands, usually the Nike sport bands because I always buy the Nike watch. But this thread has caused me to buy a bunch of new ones over the last year or so.

My Bandbreite collection as of today:
