I think I'm ready to give my series 7 a polish after a full year. Do you have to cover up the sapphire glass when you're polishing the SS?
I didn't this time as there were only light scratches on the case and I was just carefully wiping it with a Cape Cod cloth. If you need to use a Dremel or buffing wheel to remove deeper scratches I would definitely mask the glass with Polyamid tape.

So... no one knows why Apple show the stainless steel link is not water resistant? Nomad's stainless steel offering does not have this limitation and writes: Your band will not rust so it can be worn in water, although we recommend rinsing the band with fresh water after swimming in the ocean or a pool.

Don't understand the limitation by Apple. Anyone?

Maybe the springs in the locking mechanism for the clasp? That’s all I can think of.

She's a beauty. I have Series 5 Ti and that's a killer combo! Do you refrain from getting band wet? I would not want to be so careful and wear in shower, pool, etc. and rinse, etc. That's it.
I've had the bracelet for six years and haven't gone out of my way to avoid getting it wet, including the swimming pool. It goes in the ultrasonic cleaner when it starts getting gunged up and always comes out nice and clean.

It is a slightly different hue of silver to the titanium case but it's hardly noticeable unless you look closely as they both have a brushed finish.

Probably a dumb question but is there a way to get my watch face to stay "white" even when I put my arm down? I know with AOD it goes dark when you lower your arm.
