Used to love that face, but for for some reason the round faces look off on my Ultra

I can imagine what you mean. It’s such a great face, I love the bold red needles and it matches very easily with many bands. I sometimes forget about it but then when I go back to it, it’s always so refreshing.

Sprout Green and  WATCH Ultra 🌱💚 pictured with Inverness Green BSL and Grovemade wool desk mat for color reference. This is my first regular solo loop and I love it! I am fat and size 9 fits perfectly. I was worried it’d be too small, I measure at 10 but like with the BSL I went down.

Straps a little tight

Should be able to fit a finger between your arm and the band

That sounds way too big. It stretches so you’ll always be able to get a finger there no matter how tight, but if it actually has that much extra space all the time the watch would be swinging around my wrist.

Shouldn’t look like a wrapped ham

Old horology saying of the “pinky test”

Lots of mention of watchuseek and the like

Sorry, but your „old world“ wisdom doesn‘t apply to Solo Loops. They need to be just so, snug but not compressing, to be ultra-comfortable. That‘s why there are so many sizes available.

Didn't know about the pinky tip, thank you for that! Then again, I only recently learned watches were supposed to be worn above the wrist bone, explains why I usually had so much pain while wearing one.

Subsequently, moving the last watch I had (Pixel Watch, lollllll) up past my wrist bone confirmed just how fat I am, and it was even more uncomfortable.

I'm grateful for @thecautioners images as while it might look too tight for yourself, the fact they have proper circulation and knowing that the solo loop expands and stretches by design (therefore a snug fit) shows it would be perfect for me going forward.

As a side note, my wrist fat probably means that the diameter above the bone is wider than the area at the bone itself, meaning a normal non-solo loop would slide back down towards the hand. Solo loop looks to fix this issue until I eventually fix myself
