Thinking of getting a new hermes orange sport band now. I was aware that I would again spend a lot on the bands after upgrading the Apple Watch to S8. It's unstoppable.

Graphite gets mistaken for Silver SS a lot in photos. The only reason is because Graphite is very reflective just like Silver SS and looks much lighter in brighter settings. But the difference is very noticeable particularly in person. The Silver has a much cooler finish while graphite is a lot warmer/darker in hue but both with high reflectivity. Graphite in darker settings gets darker as well making it more of a chameleon finish. View attachment 2180091

Yeah I did wonder, I used to have the silver stainless steel, in lighter settings there’s not much apart in the graphite and Silver stainless steel.

Yea I take photos outdoors in brighter settings. Obsidian really lightens up outside.
