No it’s all good! I actually knew you’d end up going back. Did you end up having to sell the SSS to get back in the Ultra? Hopefully not too much was loss from the back and forth.
Those are plastic it’s a Nike Sport Loop. Every regular and Nike Sport Loops have plastic clasps.
I was able to get it back to the store in time before the return deadline. The Ultra didn’t go for as much as I wanted it to on the resale market. So I kept it. I would like to have both one day though.
Hopefully you will be happy with it. Love mine after many of the previous in Steel and Titanium. This thing is a beast
How do you find the orientation that way (right Wrist, crown on the hand side)?
I wear mine on the right wrist too and it seems like as the Ultra has a bigger crown it kind of moves with my arm, so if I use something like the solar face, when I raise my wrist it's like the crown is rotated and stops me seeing that face properly.
Does your hand/wrist interfere with the crown that way around?
It is a beast. I’m not unhappy with it. I appreciate both styles. Currently, I can only justify having one. I do love the battery life and screen brightness. All of the things that make the Ultra amazing aren’t lost to me. I just want the stainless steel when I desire a certain look and feel.
I find it quite comfortable. My hand/wrist only interfere when I’m golfing. However, I believe that may be because of the glove. Everyday activities have seen less interference than the “exposed” Digital Crown on previous Apple Watches.
BT, have you ever tried a case?
I haven’t. I personally think they look hideous on a watch.
Same here, never tried and never will. They look utterly ugly to me and many of them even ridiculous.
Even though this is a sports band, I find the Ultra looks somewhat polished on the nomad black

It did!
So it was like 10 degrees off, did the figure 8 and it got right back inline with what my instruments were saying
I will say the ultra does seem to need that realigning exercise more than it should, especially for a outdoors watch
