I was going to go for one of those bands, but have heard of them getting caught on things, and coming apart?
I have never had that issue at all and never have felt like it didn’t feel secure on my wrist then again everyone behaves differently with their watches. I’d say try one out for yourself, I honestly doubt you will have any issues with it.
Happened to me on my series 6 and broke the back of my watch , it got caught wearing my back bag , i really love the look of those bands but i wouldnt use them again

Anything with coating would wear off with time and rough use
But if u get a Plain silver stainless steel straps it can be reconditioned/ buffed to remove the scratches
