Considering you bought a $1.25 band, I would be very surprised to learn it's using anything more than a cheap grade aluminum.
That was my first thought too. However, apparently titanium (at least based on some internet searching on metal costs) is really cheap too. You can even buy 1oz slabs for $13 on Amazon. I recently picked up some titanium chopsticks for $5.

Edit: I just searched aluminum price per ounce and found $0.07. 😂

Most likely my band is aluminum. Still don’t care, it looks fine to me. Still waiting for Apple to release prettier colors on the alpine loop official band.

View attachment 2250146View attachment 2250147First and last time ordering from EBay. Took 29 days to travel 1200kms due to EBay’s ridiculous shipping systems. But it’s finally here. Nike Hasta / Light Silver on my Midnight S7
The Global Shipping Program is a joke. I’ve only used it twice, but both times were a nightmare. Just this past one, the tracking stopped updating after a week. Two weeks later I finally got my refund, then after about a month it showed up out of nowhere. It’s an annoying process, but at least I got a free band out of it?

Yep. It came from a seller in Seattle. I live in Calgary, Canada. The two cities are a 12 hour drive apart. EBay sent it through Chicago, somewhere in Kentucky and then Toronto. The carbon footprint of this band is embarrassing. EBay needs to do better.
