Definitely want to invest more into my leather collection (not specifically inspired by the discontinuation, just a neglected part of my collection) and the leather loops are a great value for the money. I want more classic buckles, but the deals are few and far between. Not to mention I'm trying to spend less on bands overall.Both is always the best outcome!
Peacock is a pretty easy find in the $30 range, but Forest tends to be more $40-50. I'm thinking $35 is my cutoff for brand new.

I usually don't like to crosspost band pics across threads but ill make an exception. I feel like using any of the stainless casings with the matching band is pure jewelry. Is this what Liquid Metal was trying to be?
I agree the Solar Analog face has a metallic vibe and makes me think of those S0 faces with the elements n stuff
Remind me of those faces. Furthest back I remember is liquid metal. I'd mess with it on my Series 1 in high school but always thought it looked like a cheap effect. Actually haven't returned to it since. Do I give it another shot?
As someone who is obsessed with full bleed outside my s5 Ceramic, I only go to those when trying to match with black metals.
One of us needs to do silver link with the new silver Solar Analog
Yeah my silver stainless is a S5, so the solar analog won't look as good as a Series 7/8/9. I'll have to pass for now.
Sucks Series 5 will forever be the last ceramic. I would instabuy a full bleed white shell. Or any ceramic for that matter.

You think they took a loss? I think they made money but not nearly enough to justify the line. I mean, they did reintroduce it twice, once even in a new color.
They’ll always have the memories of those summers of fine alumina powder—because lord knows they didn’t need to turn the production line on a second time
Forest Green Tuesday - Love green and this leather really pairs amazing with the ultra. Hate they discontinued the band style

Finally Nike faces on SBSS! Been holding out wearing Nike bands with it, finally the time has come. OG/Black
It's a new face on the Ultra models. Sad we don't get it on the regular watches because it's one of the better ones imo.
