IM buying a 4s in about a week. I am just wondering if you think the white or the black phone will show less scratches. I mean will the scratches show more on the white or black phone?

I think the 4s just as the 4 is way to prety to cover up with a case. I was thinking about buying a screen protector but they seem to come right off my 4 when I would put it in and out of my pocket.

Any thoughts? Thank you

The whites don't show scratches or finger smudges as much as the black one does.

The only thing that worries me about the white ones is dirt getting lodge in between the glass and the white plastic trim.

The white doesn't have dirt issues after hard use without a case from me. White is probably the best option if you are OCD about your phone.

Having owned white cars and black cars, I know the black ones show dirt/dust/smudges WAY more than white ones. I hope this will be true on the phone too but my upgrade date is 11/6 so have to wait until then to find out :(

I got white since I've had a black ipod touch and iPhone for the last like 3 years... thought I should change.

It'll happen. Head to an Apple Store and take a look at the white 4's that have been out for display. Yuck. Same with the iPads.

The only thing that worries me is dirt getting between the home button. It looks pretty bad if you get some serious dirt stuck in there.

Yeah, but the white shows makeup residue more than black...

Not that white iPhones are more frequently bought by women. I am not saying that at all...
