Isn’t it great how different people like different aesthetics. I love how each person toys with it until it just looks the goods that they’re happy with. The common denominator here is ios26 and the individualist preferences are what makes it our own. Keep them coming!

This is something I could live with, since as someone with a black background, my brief forray into IOS 26 the other day was jarring and I reverted back to IOS 18 while awaiting my 17 base tomorrow. Is it safe to presume you turned Text-Contrast off and Reduced Transparency? Any other settings to mess with here? Thx in advance!

Basic. Black Wallpaper. Dark Icons. Reduce Transparency.
Tried the full-on 'Glass' and hated every minute of it.

In accessibility I don’t have either of those turned on, but I do have text set to bold, and on/off labels turned on.

The most significant change was to edit the icon preference to dark. When you press and hold the Home Screen press ‘customise’ in the menu that pops up.
