yea, make a smart playlist and call it unplayed. Then set it show how many songs you've never listened to. I'm just curious.

not very big, but i outgrew my 15gb ipod last week which sucks. mostly illegal or gray (library cd's and friends' cd's) biggest artist is bob dylan with 3.8gigs but that includes a lot of duplicates and has really horrid tags. (see above)

So out of 36,879 songs you only listen to 5,598. Wow the songs that you listen to is still like quadruple my library .

Over the last month I have been in a streamlining mood, having reduced my library from 2,200 to the current 1.655. I am only retaining those I enjoy listening to many times over, not the rest which have essentially been filler material.

I'm with you there. I've reduced my library in half. Partially because I didn't listen to most of it, and also because I now have 91.94GB of movies (127 movies total) that I've backed up to my hard drive (in h.264 format)

My total play count is 10,386
