Showering while listening spotify via AW speaker

Since the AW Ultra you can listen to music on spotify over the speaker of the watch.
I wonder if you can still shower if you want to listen to music as i am not sure in water proving mode the speaker is still active/sealing the water out.

Anyone here has some experience with that?

All the water mode does is emit a sound to push the water out of the speaker area. It has nothing to do with “active/sealing the water out”.

Your Apple Watch will be fine in the shower but not sure how good the music will sound while wet. I guess it can not hurt the music quality🤪

You sure about that? First I've heard of being able to play music through an Apple Watch speaker, other than by impractical workarounds

If you can play music, I can not image how bad it would sound, especially in the shower!🤭

Maybe you can, the real question is, why? Just put a HomePod mini or a cheap echo speaker in the bathroom, you'll get much better results.

No it works in one go withouth alterations but your iphone must be turned off in order to do so.
