Showing 3G in 4G HSPA+ area (TELUS) Canada

I live in Winnipeg, where there is no LTE coverage, but TELUS says this area is covered with "4G HPSA+" at 42 Mbps.
So is this considered 3G by the ipad or should it be showing as 4G? Because it is showing as only 3G on my ipad at the moment.. 😕

I don't see why it would matter. You will get the same speeds whether or not there is a fake 4g symbol on your iPad.
