Shrinking movie size?/Cutting movie length in half?

I have a move that is something like 712MB and I want to burn it to a 700MB disc. So is there a way I can split the movie into two seperate parts? Or, is there a way to shrink the size of the movie?

And I've tried splitting the movie using iMovie, but every time I try to import the movie, it says that there is not enough disc space to import.

How much free space do you have on your boot drive?

6.32 GB.

I'm also sharing with windows vista, so there isnt a lot I can delete.

One movie i'm trying to burn is 776.8 MB and the other is 701.4 MB.

I'm using a Burn Folder to burn them.
