iPod touch Shuffle and manual selections

I'm using a 16GB 2G set to shuffle all songs. After picking a specific song to replace the current song, the shuffle doesn't resume after my song is done. At best it will shuffle from the album that the song I chose came from. How can I keep shuffling through all songs but be able to pick specific songs when I want them?

-I'm using coverflow to select the new song in case this helps.

The same thing happens to me. It's annoying to have to go back and shuffle all over again. ;/ It would be better if the shuffle continued from the song you pick....it's like that on a psp. ;O
