iPod Shuffle Syncing Question

I'm switching from Ipod Nano to Shuffle. Can I sync the Ipod Shuffle off a playlast instead off of then entire library?

For example, if my Itunes entire library is 750 songs and the Shuffle only holds 400 of them. Can I add 400 songs to a playlist and have the shuffle sync off that playlist?

Yeah, you want to go to the summary page, then Music, and change it to Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.

And then check the playlist in the list that pops up.
