General "Shuffle"

Why is it that no matter how many times I hit shuffle on a playlist that consists of several hundred songs, I continue to hear the same 15 - 20 songs over and over? ... and over?

I recall hearing something about this several years back but have mostly stuck to using Pandora until lately I built a smart playlist through iTunes. I can think of several artists that have several songs on this playlist and I haven't heard any of their content since I started listening to it.

Is this just a "submit feedback" situation or is there something I can do to actually shuffle a playlist?

I experienced the same thing,
I got about 2000 songs on my iPad and iPhone, but it keeps shuffling the same batch of songs 😵

And a lot of times shuffle keep getting activated somehow, and have to manually turn it back off.
