Shumuri Slim Case - iPhone 6

Just saw this image added on their website for anyone wondering about protection on the bottom.

I just noticed it is a Spigen, thought he said he had the Shumuri? Isn't that why everybody was begging for pictures (as the Air Skin's have been posted)?

It's the Air Skin. Some people wanted pics of the Air Skin. Sorry if you got confused.

Follow the thread. At no point did I say I had the Shumuri.

I would be interested to see photos of the Shumuri on a phone from someone who has it, as well as some from someone who has the Pinlo slice.
I'm also curious how much room there is for after market lightning cables or headphone that might have larger plastic around the connectors. The Shumuri looks pretty closed in.

But it does look nice, especially that blue one.

We wanted Vertigo to show his "soft clear" Spigen to get an idea of what it would look like against Space Gray. The only other Air Skin I've seen from someone on here, was the gray.

Sorry guys, I had to figure out a photo hosting solution. Image Shack was failing miserably from my iPhone.

By the way, the bottom is not covered. The bottom corners are covered slightly, but not the entire bottom. Personally, I prefer this, as it makes it easier to insert into docks or use the 30-pin adapter, but I know some people want more protection.

I wanted to pull your quotes in one place so you'd all know I posted photos.

Does the case cover the edge of the screen? Is the camera still protruding with the case?

The Spigen Air (pictures Vertigo50 posted) is a tad thicker than the Shumuri but both are thinner than the camera protrusion. I believe you will need a case > 0.7mm thick to sit above the camera protrusion.

The Spigen Air Skin sort of covers the edges. I wouldn't feel comfortable laying it face down, though, as it doesn't have that much if a "lip". I'm one of those people who actually wants LESS lip because I don't want to feel it when I swipe on or off the screen edge. You feel it slightly with this case, but just barely, and now that I've gotten used to it, it really doesn't bother me.

I have considered using a very fine sandpaper and trying to file the edges down just slightly so that they end up lower than the screen. Not sure I have the guts to try it yet though. :)

Yes I was looking for exactly without edge so I can feel the curve glass on the screen.

It's not exactly that, because I was hopung for that too. For now, though I'm okay with it. I really might try sanding it down a little though. If I use a really fine grit, it should still be pretty smooth, and maybe I could get it as low as I want it to be.

I was interested in this until I saw it was covered at the bottom. It will not fit the docks I have at work and home.

Just ordered the clear Shumuri case for my 6! I already have a Spigen clear one but I'm worried it wont be thin enough for my liking (Still waiting for my 6 to arrive) so this is a backup.

So these cases can't be placed face down because not enough lip, and also can't be place on it's back because it's too thin and won't protect the protruding camera?

Does anyone know if the Shumuri case is plastic or tpu? I'm scared while putting a plastic case on it will scratch the phone.

The camera lens is sapphire. I don't worry about that part.

Plastic won't scratch aluminum. The Air Skin isn't the easiest case in the world to get on and off, but I wasn't worried about scratches. The biggest issue is carefully getting it past the buttons.

The Shumuri looks more troublesome with the closed bottom, though. That could be a real struggle.

The case is only .35mm. Is it a really tight fit right now?

Not sure if it will stop the connector from going all the way in to make a good contact.

I will have to try.

I had a plastic super slim case for the 5S and debris within the case caused scratches.

That's why I have it naked - probably less chance of scratching.

I only ever put it in a pocket on its own, and place it on something soft when I need to put it down like my notepad or paper etc.

Let's be honest the thin case won't protect against impact - only scratching anyway
