I have the Shumuri Slim, the moment I put it on my iPhone 6 the case snapped at the headphone jack. I contacted Shumuri and they sent me another one, again snapped right away.

Is the build of the Caudabe Veil XT better than the Shumuri? I feel like that's what I've been hearing.

I have both and from my experience I think the Caudabe is the better case. My Shumuri has a loose fit and the bottom cutouts don't line up very well. The Veil XT doesn't suffer from these issues. I have not had any problems with the headphone cutout breaking on either case.

I think honestly they're both very very similar and you'd really have to be splitting hairs to say that one is better than the other. That said, I do stick with Caudabe because they've been great to me in the past with their support staff. Just super easy to deal with. And they're a US company while Shumuri seems to be in China. I just generally don't like ordering from companies that ship their products all the way from China. Chalk it up to bad Ebay experiences in the past I suppose.

I think the main thing I'm worried about is the case snapping again. I tried to take off the Shumuri and right away the spot by the headphone jack snapped. I just don't want to waste another $20 is all ha.

Gadget Mac has a great tip for getting the case off in their review of the Shumuri. Pop the top right corner first then the bottom right corner. I can get these cases off in like a second no problem. I actually pop the top right then the top left corner then just pull the phone out. Once you figure out the thumb placement on the back to create pressure to pop the corner it's super easy and it doesn't damge the case. Took me a few times to get the right technique.

Sadly enough I figured that out after I broke the case haha. I was just thinking to myself, "there's no buttons on top. Why did I try to take it off bottom first...?"

How does the Spigen Air Skin compare?
I have both and the Air Skin is just a hair bit thicker (.4mm vs .35mm for Caudabe). The Air Skin also doesn't have the camera ridge either but is just about level with the 6 protruding camera.

Like I said in another thread, the Shumuri Slim Extra is the best choice for me, better quality, more colors and also the shipping was very fast (they ship it from US) and it's free. I ordered the Grey one first, and I wasn't really happy with the color, so I've ask for a replacement in different color and 4 days later I got my Navy Blue case which is great.
So Good quality, more color options, fast and free shipping, what more do I need?
