The Sennheiser SKP 100 G3 plug-on transmitter doesnt supply phantom power.

The Shure SM58 is a dynamic mic which apparently doesnt require power so...

If I plug the Sen. plug on adapter, and the cam receiver onto the camera, will i get audio from the mic?

Im wanting to do mainly nightclub interviews so ive heard this is the best option?

Yeah, I do this all the time. Works great. I use an SM58 and a G2-series SKP 100 plug-on transmitter, but it's basically the same thing.

I have the same plug in transmitter. Works fine with my sen. handheld.
Does yours go through batteries like crazy? I've had to replace them twice before changing the receiver
