Shutdown issue after 10.5.6 update

Greetings,

I am wondering if anyone is experiencing the same issue after the 10.5.6 update. I have my MBP (15" mid2010 model) wake up every morning at 7am and have an applescript that opens iTunes and plays music from a playlist.

Before the update this worked beautifully. It still does however, when I shutdown the MBP it starts up again. Then when when I turn it off again it does shutdown.

At first I thought I was going nuts and found it only happens after it wakes up at 7am. Any other time when I select shutdown it does shutdown.

Before I begin searching and troubleshooting, I was just curious if anyone else was experiencing the same issue.

Have you tried disabling script and seeing what happens?

I am going to disable the script tonight and see what happens tomorrow morning.
