Has anyone found a way to turn off the shutter release sound for IOS 7?
There's no way other than to turn side switch to mute.
Put your finger on the speaker lol
For the camera? Does it still make a sound with the phone on silent?
No. With the phone on silent there is no shutter sound.
so theres a way to turn it off by having it on silent lol not a big issue in my opinion
It is if you work black ops for the CIA like me!
Edit: Oops. Mods delete this.
if you're black ops your phone wont be on loud, it would be on silent, and would have no shutter sound.
Ack, No. Then I would stick out like a sore thumb. First thing they teach in spy school is to be annoying like everyone else.
I like your style.
Yup, as was the case in previous iOS versions as well.
My camera still makes a sound when its on mute. How to turn it off??
Yes. My camera does that. How to turn it off??
You have the silent switch on the side of the phone set to mute (shows orange)?
If so, and it still makes the sound, is it a Japanese phone?
In Japan, by law the camera has to make a sound when you take a picture. Apple disables mute for the shutter sound in Japan (and possibly other Asian countries).
Well.. are you located in Japan or other Asian countries?
