$30 is an absolute steal for this on the iPad Pro. It somehow keeps up with my overclocked i7 4790K (4.6 GHz), if not even beating it on a standard 8-player map. That both astonishes me and kind of makes me feel uncomfortable at the same time. On top of it, the battery life was enough to last a bit over 200 (!!!!!) turns.
I hope Aspyr decides to keep updating the game to at least keep game logic parity with the desktop version on Steam. The DLC isn't as important to me as keeping the base logic updated. I can definitely tell this is using older AI compared to the current version on Steam.
This is truly a masterpiece and shows us what the iPad Pro is capable of. I was expecting to see more discussion about it here...
I welcome the change and think it is well worth it!
Plus there is a demo so if you don't like it just delete it after trying it.
I despise in app purchases.
Same. I’m totally addicted. It’s amazing on the 12.9.I’m hooked on this by week already and my work productivity suffers
Or 30 bucks for the next few days only.I tried the demo and was pretty impressed by how it good it was. It definitely doesn't feel like some watered down version, and I'm playing on a 10.5". Probably wouldn't buy it myself since I have a gaming PC and Macs, but if the iPad was your one of your only devices, this would totally be worth $60 since it's the full featured game.
If this game doesn't prove the capabilities of the iPad these days, I don't know what will.
I was playing Civilization Revolution on the phone (loved it) until it ‘became obsolete’ and they pulled it...
Revolution 1 or Revolution 2 ?
If version 2, you may have some hope, as it seems back...
Just in case it wasn't clear, there aren't actually "In App" purchases with Civ VI. They're just using the in app purchase mechanism to allow for free trial downloads. There's only one in app purchase and it's to buy the full game.
