Anyone else think it’s strange that it works on the 2017 iPad but not the iPhone 6s since they both have the same chipset?
Am I missing something, or are there no buttons for saving, loading, or changing the options for a new game?
The first 3 hours were you not being able to leave the car due to “just one more turn!”, right?Suddenly I'm okay with a four-hour wait at the DMV.
Aaaah, of course - I forgot it was a stupid IAP because of Apple's stupid ban on trials/demos, forcing people to use IPAs as a workaround. I'll do a restore purchases...Just downloaded it. The free one doesn't give me any options for games like on the PC version. Can't choose what kind nor size of map, can't choose which civilization to play as. However, paying for it opens up the options.
Oh man, I’m so tempted, but CivRev is my favorite Civ game, and I’ve heard the “full version of Civ” is way more complex.
Not just me thenAm I missing something, or are there no buttons for saving, loading, or changing the options for a new game?
I just loaded it on my 6s running 12, it does run...Anyone else think it’s strange that it works on the 2017 iPad but not the iPhone 6s since they both have the same chipset?
I wonder if it would just be a massive battery drain on the 6s with all the AI (especially late in the game) and that's why they didn't put it on the list. The 2017 iPad at least has a much larger battery to back it up.I just loaded it on my 6s running 12, it does run...
Its a pretty big battery drain on my Xs Max, so I can't imagine how bad it would be on older models. My phone doesn't heat up though, so that's a plus.
It's the FULL game, including many of the DLC, (partial) mod support (!). The only thing it is missing is the strategy view. And Rise and Fall expansion is coming later. Is this really a FULL game or is it like somehow a partial port
No cloud save support yet. You can move save files around with iTunes File Sharing if you have to. But it does need a computer.Does it lack cloud save support, or do I just need to turn it on somewhere? Not syncing between iPhone and iPad is quite a bummer.

"Give a man a fish, and he will feed for a day... Teach a man that he can play Civilization on his phone, and he will never work again."
Help me understand. I bought this last year on my Mac via Steam and have been playing pretty much daily. Why is it free to iPad users, but not Mac users who've already chipped in just as much?
