Hi

Does anyone have any experience of side loading any emulators... for example Amiga, Spectrum etc.

Guess I'm looking for the code to load up in x-code, and how to get it onto my device (self-sign etc)

Cheers

I stopped writing emulators for iOS a longtime ago, last one being an Atari 2600, just wasn't worth it, especially when Android is a much, much, much better OS for them. The biggest reason though, for me anyway, was that I couldn't use USB replica game controllers, which as far as I'm concerned is an absolute must as it elevates the experience and nostalgia 10 fold. External display support simply blows, no SD Card support, multitasking was severely lacking, etc. That and there are so many cool Android based gaming tablets out there for me to tailor my creations for, this is a great starter http://www.willgoo.com/jxd-s7800b-game-pad-quad-core-rockchip-3188-ips-lcd-8gb-p-356.html and here's my current one.

If you still want to try, here: http://www.howtogeek.com/230225/how-to-sideload-apps-onto-an-iphone-or-ipad-without-jailbreaking/ good luck, though you really don't have to as there are all ready tons of emulators available here, http://iemulators.com, with source code available upon request.
