Sidebar in Safari 9.0

Does anyone know how to turn off the sidebar from coming up when my curser hits the left side of the page.

I am using Safari in fullscreen mode.

It seems you cannot disable the sidebar from coming up automatically except to exit full screen mode.

would be nice to be able to set that trigger to the right, bottom, etc. at the very least.

I was afraid it was a thing you cannot turn off and I too wish it could a trigger at the bottom right or something lol

There's no current way to disable. It's also in pretty much every app that has a sidebar, not just Safari.

I’ve only rarely triggered it. What is so problematic about it? Are you using any apps that interfere with this behaviour?
