sideways slip

I have an iMac and when I came to use it this morning the writting/etc seems to have slipped to the right. The bookmarks are in the right place (left) but then there is a large gap before forums/facebook etc appears. I cannot access the end of sentences etc. Any suggestions on what to do please 😕
