Sideways?

Do you think the new mac mini could be mounted sideways on a desk?

No reason it couldn't.

It should work, but I would turn it on only after securing it in place. It's always a bad idea to rotate electronic equipment that is on.

Yes, should be fine.

Mac Mini server farms usually mount them vetically.
