Since my iPhone 5 comes on Friday, I started taking steps today to make sure that was a quick and smooth experience. So, I cleared my jailbreak today and updated my 4S to iOS 6. I wanted to make sure if there were issues restoring from my jailbroken backup that I got them worked out in advance of the new phone coming. Good news was, it was very painless...just did a restore+upgrade and in about 10 minutes I had iOS 6 on my phone and was restoring from my backup. 15 minutes after that I had a working phone with no apparent issues. Not going to bother reinstalling most of my apps, since I'll just need to do it again in two days, but I'll get the ones I use a lot downloaded. So, I'm sure there will be things I miss about being jailbroken (my themes, folder enhancer, NC Settings), but I'll survive until an iPHone 5 jailbreak.
