Heh heh -- thanks, guys! Some fun ideas in there! Some of those gave me a good (and much needed) laugh. :D ;)

Apparantly a few of the neighbors called the cops last night, taking care of that one for us. I talked to my dad, though (he was NOT happy with them) and it sounds like we'll be on board with the cop calls at their next party.

Oh -- one last thing -- I *just* woke up, no thanks to them -- half a day wasted sleeping 'cause they kept me up all night. :( Ah, well -- sounds like they're in for it next time!

as other have said call the cops on them. Also I would say talk to there other neighbors about it and basicly have all of them calling the cops on them. That way the complaints are coming from several different house holds making it look very clear who the problem is with. It will not be there word vs yours in which they win. It be there word agaist a lot of people word. Plus the cops will see it not just one cranky person but several people and they will be busting them a lot more. Hopefully that will keep things down.

As everyone has said, calling the cops is the best course of action. Someone earlier said that nothing wil hold up in court- that makes no sense as nobody is going to court. At worst they will be contunally fined.

However, as an interesting twist, take pictures of them at the party and when the cops get there. Make sure that you stay on your property and only photograph them when they have "no reasonable expectation of privacy" IE in the front lawn. (If you take pictures into their home you stand a good chance of being arrested). Then, take the pictures and have fun with them! Post them around the neighborhood, put them online, or if you want to be really mean, put them up around where ever they work.

If you are underage, go over and start drinking/partying with them. Nothing shuts down a house party better than underage drinking! :D
Especially if your father decides to call the cops, just stick around and try to look guilty -- getting the homeowner cited.

Works, and is a dirty method for getting the cops mad at a homeowner.

Personally, I'm surprised the cops haven't been called before now considering it sounds like it's been going on for so long. I would have tried talking to them after the first time it happened and then called the cops the next time (or the time after) it happened again.

Although we haven't called the cops yet, I know some of our other neighbors have (on more occasions than one.) At that point, they'll usually tone that party down a bit, but then we're right back where we started when they have their next party.

Call the cops.

If they keep on being obnoxious blare some really bad music at 5:00 in the morning on a saturday. Then when they aren't looking pour bleach onto their lawn and spell out "shut up" or something. :)

Creative... bad for the environment, but... creative. I like it. :D ;)

call the cops and tell them you smelled the smoking drugs and that will get over there quick. we had the same problem when i grew up and graduated college and got a real job. we had some upstairs neighbors who would play foosball every single weekday night about midnight, and you could here that table rattling away. needless to say, i went up there one night and grabbed the ball and threw it out the damn window. they tried to start some crap, but the cop that lived in our complex was right behind and walked right in after me. turned out one of them had an outstanding warrant, for a traffic ticket, got thrown in jail, and the got evicted. a nice hot stripper moved upstairs after that. she was quiet during the day and worked nights. she wasn't bad to look at.

on a personal note, we threw a party at our party house when i was in college, and someone broke open our outside phone box and called 911. cops showed up and we were all hauled off to jail. we lost the house, a few other got arrested, i just had to jog back to the house (which was five miles) grab my truck and proceed to school to take a final. made an A.

don't really know if there is some advice or not, just thought i would share my story.
