Simply means it's a cross compatible app for iPhone/iPod/iPad

Yep, the same app will work on both - and on the iPad it's not just the blown up iPhone app.

Anyway, it's nice buying a universal app because you get the most value; We'll start to see more and more of them as developers add iPad apps and support for the iPhone 4's larger display
