Signal bars all grey but full signal?

Sometimes on my new 17 I notice the signal bars are greyed out.. but I have a full signal (speed test shows very good speed!) and my work iPhone SE on the same network shows all the bars in black…

Anyone else seen this?

Okay seems like it’s just me but is this likely to be a phone issue or an iOS issue..? Happens daily!

Edit: I know it’s not just not having a signal because when I toggle the airplane mode on and off the signal bars come back black

I noticed this the other day on my 16 Pro, when I unlocked it the signal bars were all gray and then after a few seconds started showing the normal signal. I didn't ever see this on the 26 public betas or 26 final so it may be something with 26.0.1. There was a cellular related fix as part of 26.0.1. But you know how that goes, fix one thing and break two more.
