I'm sure it'll get worse but so far this is almost tame compared to when a post talks about encryption.I'm not, I've been in and out since 2003, but I'm guessing the Apple's explosion in popularity over the past decade has really brought some bad blood to the membership here.
I rather miss when Apple was a niche computer brand.
Can you set it to blur the pallets of bricks being dropped off prior to the 'peaceful protests' as well?
If I say I am “anti-fascism” and then dress up in black clothes and cover my face and go start riots ... what I call myself is irrelevant. I would be a fascist. Most Americans are not so dumb that we believe there has been an outbreak of fascism that requires a bunch of browncoats running around blowing stuff up. These are just terrorists. They can make their motto “don’t be evil” but if they do evil it doesn’t matter. Their actions say terrorism. They look like terrorists. They are terrorists.
The president doesn’t have to do anything. Average Americans understand that free elections with minor changes in policy do not suddenly transform the govt from a free democracy to fascism. The problem for ANTIFA is they are cosplaying what their ideology teaches not reality. In reality there are not enough “Nazis” in the US to fill a high school gymnasiums so when ANTIFA says they are fighting Nazis normal Americans just roll our eyes and laugh and feel bad for the people ANTIFA terrorizes.
Some parents don’t want pictures of children shared or pictures of themselves shared out to social media. But people may still want to share a photo of an event in which these people appear in the background. So it’s convenient if you can blur out people who don’t consent to have their image shared. Aside from children there may be people who are uncomfortable with their looks or who have been stalked or harassed. There are many reasons besides protests and political activity that people want to keep their image from being shared. Why blur your face if you aren’t doing anything wrong?

So tiresome a response. All it actually says is you’re really naive. I don’t mean that in a nasty way, it’s kind of endearing in the way a child can be endearing because they are naive. But please try to imagine. There are many many perfectly law abiding people who may not want their photos shared. And even if they aren’t law abiding, why shouldn’t they blur out photos oWhy blur your face if you aren’t doing anything wrong?
Uh oh. Encryption debate incoming."if you have nothing to hide, why bother encrypting your data?"
The biggest hypocrites of all time are ANTIFA. They refuse to stand for free speech and won’t accept any person into power who doesn’t agree with their racist views. I’m getting some serious third reich vibes from them. Including anti Semitic views. The more that can be done to help people who are anti-FASCISM, the better. It boggles my mind that US president seemingly succeeded in making fascists / nazis seem normal and victims.
"Anti-fascism," pretty low bar. So was Stalin, which they're similar to. Either side in power is something to avoid at all costs. The more that can be done to help people who are anti-FASCISM, the better. It boggles my mind that US president seemingly succeeded in making fascists / nazis seem normal and victims.
Haters gonna hateHurry up and split your country in two.
It's the user's choice here, which is good. If I were taking the pics, I'd blur the faces of the armed shopkeepers but not the looters.Rioters, looters, and vandals don’t deserve an iota of privacy. Expose those criminals, I say.
Why would I go after a peaceful protestors? Are you calling me a criminal? Reported. To shield peaceful protesters from people (like you?) who would assume they're criminals and potentially go after them or their families.
