Bloody signature limits, so annoying!!! Here I am tring to make my signature "Predictable reinfinement of computer equipment should suggest online reliability. The elite computer hobbyist needs one logical optionless garantee, yet." and it said I was exeeding the limits! 150 charictors limit or something like that!

I know limits are to keep everything tidy but I think they should be increased, 250 or something like that would be good... What do you all think?

I think they should be reduced. And comic sans should be banned. And colours / smilies in sigs should be banned.

and that bloody :apple: smilie should be limied to one use, per user, per month. it's waaaaaaaaaaaaay too overused.

I tried to use the below sentence once, it was over the limit...

eat your vegetables

(it's gradiented) it bothers me that markup is included in the limits. that is all.

I love how people use it as a full-stop:apple:

Years back there was no limit in place, but to combat the increasing number of ridiculously long and distracting sigs that were cropping up the powers that be imposed the 150 character limit.

Look on it as a challenge. ;)

Lol I cant put my quote on though! So annoying! A 200 charicters limit wouldnt be so bad would it?

That sentence doesn't even make any sense (not to mention there's some spelling errors)

How about:

"Reliable kit won't jack up yo sheeeeit. The mac daddy needs a good shizzles, yo."

Word.

That's a nice silvery-grey in your sig there. :p ;)
do as i say, not as i do. :p

perhaps, what i should have said, is in your face colours like red shouldn't be allowed. i like my sig as it doesn't get in the way.

A #e3e3e3 and a Gray, no less. Ban him!
how will you get your fix of me if i'm banned? ;)

we can't meet too often, there'll be no beer left in scotland! :p

Sorry, but I am quite fond of signature limits. I fear otherwise we'd be dealing with many people listing the entire inventory of their homes if we did not do something.

I can't say I mind too much, it makes a nice change from other forums where you have massive signatures and you just get confused.

As to raising the limit to 200, if that was done, you'd soon have people wanting it raised to 250, and so on...it wouldn't end.

Limiting the colours I think might be an interesting idea, along with the fonts, if only to stop people using Comic Sans ;)

Its not meant to make sense, its got a hidden message (look at the rirst letter of each word). Steve Wozniak used it for a fake poster he done. Read iWoz...

Yes there is, im typing on my iTouch :D
Well that's just dumb... understandable, but dumb! :p (I can't type on those things to save my life)

putting this in white text just to be a jerk since IIRC, stupid ass iPhones and iPod touches won't let you highlight stuff. naa naa naaa naaaaaa naaa

Processor Technology?

Still seems rather an odd way to put it. Might as well just say it...

I read your white text and spit on it!

He made a poster that took the mick out of the Altair and wanted to make it look like Processor Technology done it.

I wouldn't mind upping the character limit. I wouldn't mind lowering the # of lines available either. The vertical space taken up by signatures bothers me more often than how long a signature is lengthwise.
