is another bitter dissapointment and lacks EVERY single element that makes a silent hill game.

    :(

After having to abandon Silent Hill Downpour because of a bug that reduced the game to an unplayable mess, wasting €50 in the process, I was hopeful at least the Vita Silent Hill game would go someway to making mends. How wrong I was.

    Vita what happened to you?

Oh and someone please kick Konami in the nuts for trying their best to kill the silent hill franchise...

Downpour can be had from UK Amazon for about ten pounds now. Is it even worth that? What's this bug you speak of?

    Looking at the PS3 version...

Yeah there is a bug in the Ps3 version of the game that similar to the Skyrim bug as the game save file increases the performance of the game suffers.

It got to the point on mine where it would freeze monetarily and stutter constantly that it became frustrating and nauseating to even bother playing.

They never bothered releasing a patch to fix it.

For me it rendered the game unplayable so for even £10 it's a rip-off....

I didn't think those looked too terrible...but then again, I also thought the Orange Box on PS3 was totally playable. :D

In any case, a patch is coming:

I'll still pick it up at some point...right now there are too many other good releases that will keep me busy for awhile though. But since I have no hope that Dead Space 3 will be worth my time, Downpour sounds like it could be the next good game for dark winter nights! :)
