I've had my iMac since the end of September. I've been gradually starting things up and learning about them, coming from a Windows world.

I've recently taken iTunes and added my music to the library. Owning and iPod, I'm a little familiar with it. I'm very used to Windows Media Player but iTunes is nice and will be the one that I use.

Anyway, I run a message forum and I recently added a plug-in that can be launched from the site. The plug-in is for SHOUTcast radio. I have been firing it up to listen to various stations to get a change of pace from my own selection of music.

What I'm noticing right now is that iTunes is randomly starting up and starting a random song. I have it set to shuffle when I'm in the playlist mode. I can't find the setting that might be making iTunes launch and start on its own. Any ideas?

Thanks!
